Info: SWEETER Programme for the Promotion of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Energy Research

The Swiss Parliament has agreed on the amount and timeframe for funding energy research.

The funding instrument SWEETER (SWiss research for the EnErgy Transition and Emissions Reduction) will receive CHF 35.6 million until 2028. A further CHF 71.2 million up to 2036 will be allocated as part of the next dispatches on the promotion of education, research and innovation (ERI Dispatches). We are pleased that after the SWEET funding instrument, which the td-net is currently supporting in various ways, another programme will soon be available to promote interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary energy researc

Each year we invite the community of inter- and transdisciplinarity to share their recommendations for the most important publications in research, education and practice. These contributions will be compiled and published on our website as the "Tour d'Horizon 2024". Your expertise matters! Take part in our survey before 31 March 2025.

    Ready to dive in? Open online course on transdisciplinary research

    Learn how to tackle complex societal challenges through transdisciplinary research in our open online course. Explore transdisciplinarity through videos, texts and thought-provoking questions based on 5 real-world examples, either self-paced or in active exchange with peers. The six-week tutored peer-learning course starts the week of 25 February. With around 40 participants already signed up, it promises to be an engaging experience!
