by Kofi Annan, Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Secretary General of the UN - The Richard R. Ernst Lecture 2010 The Laboratory for Physical Chemistry annually organizes the Richard R. Ernst Lecture to honor the Nobel Prize winner Professor Richard R. Ernst, winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1991, who celebrated his 75th birthday in 2008. The lecture is given by outstanding personalities from science and public life. This year, the second Richard R. Ernst Lecture is awarded to Dr. Kofi Annan who will talk about Science and Society with a focus on university education.
