swiss-academies award for
transdisciplinary research

The swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research (td-award), under the patronage of Stiftung Mercator Schweiz since 2008, is given biannually in recognition of outstanding transdisciplinary work according to the criteria developed and published by the td-net. Projects carried out by individuals or research teams are eligible.

The decision of the Jury is based on the quality of the current project (not the follow-up project). The winner or the winning team receives 75,000 Swiss Francs.

Award Ceremony: 16 September 2010 at the td-conference 2010 in Geneva

The Award Ceremony will take place within the framework of the international Transdisciplinarity Conference 2010 at the Uni Bastions in Geneva on Thursday, 16 September from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Generously supported by Stiftung Mercator Schweiz, the td-award is the highest prize of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
You are kindly invited to join us in Geneva. For the planning of the event, it would be of great help to the organizers if you communicated your attendance to the coordinator Dr. Manuela Rossini at rossini@scnat.
